Continuum Early Access

What is Continuum Early Access?

Continuum Early Access is a one time purchase that grants you early access to the currently in-development non-RT Continuum shader.

Continuum Early Access currently featuresĀ Continuum Legacy, which is at the following stage of development:

ALPHA

Alpha Builds are the latest builds of the shader. These will give you access to what the devs are working on as they are working on it. They may be a bit more buggy than other builds at times.

Current Status

BETA

Beta Builds are released when we have reached a significant milestone where the shader is in mostly working order, and is considered by the developers to be ā€˜feature completeā€™.

RC

Release Candidates are nearly complete versions of the shader, generally far more stable than any of the others. These builds are nearly fully featured and are just lacking that last bit of polish.

Continuum Early Access will grant you access to current Continuum Legacy Early Access versions, future Beta versions of Continuum 2.1 updates (think Beta 2.1.1, 2.1.2, etc. builds), and potential future versions of our mainline, non-RT Continuum Shaders while they are still in active development.

Put simply, it allows you to play with the absolute latest stuff we are working on, as we are working on it.
It also supports these projects continued development, and us, which we appreciate very much!

Previous Continuum Early Access Releases

Some of the previous shader releases made possible by the Continuum Early Access program and it’s supporters.

Continuum 2.1

Continuum 2.1 represents the cutting edge of what the team can do with our non-RT shaders. It's the result of years of work on both our Focal Engine (which is what drives 2.1's unique blend of quality, wide feature set and performance), and the shader itself, which drove a large portion of Focal Engine features during that time. It's our most polished, feature rich and performant shader yet.

Continuum 2.0

Continuum 2.0 was our first Continuum Early Access release, as well as being our first shader to be entirely based on the Continuum teams own code, not the highly edited SEUS versions that were the basis for Continuum 1.3 and older. It was a landmark release for Continuum Graphics, and while it has its issues, it will always be special to us.
